Tiffany’s experience with housing conditions is as broad as it is deep. She served as a member on Manhattan’s Community Board 9 where she dedicated most of her time to the Housing, Land Use and Zoning Committee. She also continues to serve as a board member of the Metropolitan Council on Housing, the oldest and largest tenant rights organization in New York. Most recently, she advocated to include preserving NYCHA as part of the Met Council’s new agenda after growing concerns about the loss of public housing.
Â
Tiffany has worked tirelessly to organize tenants, raise awareness about fire evictions, and stop rezonings that exacerbate our housing shortage while destabilizing communities. Her housing agenda spans the protection of public housing, rent-stabilization, affordable co-ops and single/multi-family homes. She has appeared on radio shows and been invited to be a guest speaker at the New School among other venues.
